Waste Management Inc. looking to expand Carp Landfill on present site24 April 2010. EMC News - Last week the city received notification that Waste Management Inc. is seeking approval to expand the Carp Road Landfill. This location provides services to the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (IC&I) and Residential sectors. Waste Management's proposal includes a new Environmental Centre, and a variety of waste technologies and services. Most significantly, the request includes a new landfill cell that will accept up to 400,000 tonnes of waste per year for 10 years.
