Ottawa is responsible for all of its garbage

Opposition to expansion of the Carp Road landfill makes no sense. If we don’t put garbage
there, where will we put it?

We have a responsibility to dispose of all the garbage we make within our community. Shipping
the commercial, industrial and institutional garbage to other communities, such as New York state,
should not be allowed as it is a wasteful use of resources and damages the environment to get it
there and is downright inconsiderate to that community...
